With Dreamforce starting next week, we thought it would be interesting to give a preview of the event. Last year was all about ‘The Social Enterprise’ and from what Salesforce has already published, this year will be driven by ‘The Marketing Cloud’.
The combination of Buddy Media (social media marketing platform) and Salesforce Radian6 (social media listening platform) gives Salesforce customers the ability to listen, engage, gain insight, publish, advertise and measure social marketing programs. With the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CMOs will be empowered to manage the entire social marketing lifecycle while integrating social marketing into its sales and service programs.
This recent video published by Salesforce on August 24th, 2012 is one of the first that we have seen to specifically mention marketing automation. In the video, Salesforce claims that in a recent test they saw 90% more pipeline using marketing automation versus traditional email marketing. Based on previous reporting done by Marketing Automation Times, we are told that Salesforce is using Eloqua for their interal marketing automation solution.
