HubSpot, Pardot, Act-On, Marketo and Eloqua have been named “Leaders” in G2 Crowd’s latest marketing automation report, called “Grid.”
The new report is G2 Crowd’s second “Grid” report of the year and the results are are based on over 2,200 reviews and ratings from users of marketing automation systems. In the spring 2014 report, there were only 800 respondents.
Also new in the latest report — in addition to 1,400 new reviewers — is the grid itself, which splits the marketing automation systems into four categories: Leaders, High Performers, Niche and Contenders.
The spring 2014 report ranked the platforms based on customer satisfaction scores, and HubSpot, Act-On, Pardot, Marketo and Eloqua were the top five on that list as well.
The Leaders “must receive a high customer satisfaction score and have substantial market presence,” G2 Crowd explains in a release, while High Performers “have high customer satisfaction scores with a smaller market presence than leaders.” Included in the High Performers group are Salesfusion, OutMarket, Ontraport, Net-Results, LeadSquared, Hatchbuck and Genoo.
