MARKETING AUTOMATION SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT
The Marketing Automation Solution Architect (MASA) provides technical and product leadership and expertise on client and partner facing solutions, leveraging Marketo & Eloqua Marketing Automation and Salesforce.com CRM platforms. The MASA plays a critical role in helping to design and deliver Televerde demand generation solutions. This role is responsible for presenting product offerings and architecture in the best light to prospects and customers, evoking confidence in the company’s technology infrastructure, and removing all technical objections in the sales cycle.
DESIRED OUTCOMES OF THIS POSITION INCLUDE:
- Demonstrate technical and product leadership on Televerde engagements with clients and partners;
- Define at an architectural and design level of detail, technical and business solutions aligned with our clients’ requirements;
- Lead the development of project design documents and deliverables, including communication to the client on these items;
- Articulate the business and technical value of Televerde solutions to clients and partners. Communicate complex, enterprise-class technical solutions to both technical and business audiences;
- Provide hands on assistance with the detailed design and implementation phases of our engagements;
- Share information, knowledge and experience within the company, and with partners;
- Serve as technology and process expert for Televerde solutions and services;
- Drive standard solutions for systems and data integration, leveraging but not limited to Marketo, Eloqua and Salesforce.com, SOAP API, selected SaaS integration platforms, and partner solutions;
- Understand the customer’s needs and establish company’s product offering as the best solution that addresses that need;
- Build and present customized demos;
- Present companies technology infrastructure, including demonstrating deep familiarity with companies hardware, software, networking and security stack;
- Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certification to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position;
- Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management;
- Respond effectively to RFP’s
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of related enterprise applications, relational database and web technologies.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of Marketing Automation Lead Management and Salesforce Automation (CRM) applications and the latest demand generation techniques.
- Ability to work as part of a team to solve technical problems in varied political environments
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Executive presence with ability to lead brainstorming and interactive sessions with a worldwide audience of senior decision makers from sales and marketing
- Ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value.
- Ability to make important decisions quickly with a clear understanding of business consequences.
- Able to analyze data to determine trends and correlations using advanced tactical and strategic marketing methodologies.
- Thorough understanding of Business Analysis and Business case (TCO/ROI) construction
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with a focus on needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing techniques; comfortable and capable of communicating Televerde’s demand creation solutions and value proposition to a primarily non-technical audience of marketers and C-level executives.
- Possesses the business acumen to position the Televerde solution as a strategic advantage for our customers; must be able to clearly articulate business decision drivers, costs and benefits with senior executives and decision makers.

- A natural technical leader with strong communication skills and the ability to lead through influence
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS NEEDED FOR CONSIDERATION INCLUDE:
- Bachelor’s degree required (Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred), Masters degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience as a sales engineer for a CRM/Marketing Automation company or software company with proven success in architecture and delivery of large scale enterprise SaaS solutions
- At least 4 years experience as a senior architect, 2+ years as a SaaS Architect with 10+ years of professional experience
- Experience with Marketo, Eloqua and Salesforce.com or Force.com strongly preferred.
- Strong implementation experience with the ability to be hands on to both prototype and roll-up sleeves and implement with the team when necessary Basic programming experience in HTML, CSS & JavaScript and other web based technologies. Experience with multiple formats of demand generation, including, but not limited to email, website, direct mail, telemarketing, call center, print and PR.
- Extensive experience in comparable pre-sales positions supporting the sales cycle in selling Marketing Automation, CRM, or high value business solutions.
